Great lemon soup and delicious gyros. Andy and Olga are wonderful

Walked in, felt like an old time luncheonette. Was greeted with a smile.
Place was slammed. Was seated within two minutes.
Menus are typical Jersey diner menus, albeit abbreviated. But enough on there for anyone to find something.
I ended up getting a burger. Fresh and hand packed. Lettuce was clean and crisp. Tomatoe slices (two thick ones) were red and juicy. It was just short of amazing. And it was not the fault of the place. It was breakfast time so the grills are set at 350° max, vs lunch when they go to 375°. Can get that perfect sear at that temp. Otherwise, fabulous. Coleslaw was outstanding, fine chopped through the buffalo chipper, and just the right amount of sugar. Everything I saw come out of that open kitchen was generously portioned.
Service was super friendly, prompt, extremely attentive, and never made me feel rushed.
Would definitely recommend to ANYONE. Especially those on vacation wanting great food at fair prices, go there. Try the specials.

Very popular Deli Greek influence. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely a local Institution. Be sure to try the egg salad. They have a nice little twist on it.
