The James

We had a great stay. Everyone there were really awesome. The breakfast and the various treats were so good! We eat vegan, and they were so accommodation to that which was really nice. Would definitely go back again.

We enjoyed our stay in Bradley Beach. It was off season so pretty quiet . We are less accustomed to B&B type establishments so that is an adjustment. The bed was so high that I needed a chair to get into it. I am 5 feet tall but still never encountered that before. It is under new management and we never meet the owner but the staff were very nice and helpful. The Breakfast was absolutely delicious and had something for everyone….we loved eating on the spacious front porch. They are under renovation so it may be worth another visit next year.

Had a fabulous time staying at the James Bradley! Location was perfect, a short walk to the beach. They provided beach chairs, beach badges & umbrellas. Our room had 2 queen beds & was perfect for the three of us. Loss of sitting areas. Front porch, courtyard with tables & chairs, and comfy couches in the backyard. Breakfast was amazing! Continental breakfast during week with muffins, breads, fruit, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt with all the fixings. Weekends, you can choose a home cooked breakfast. The staff was amazing! Always friendly and accommodating. Had the opportunity to chat with George, the owner, on the front porch as he ate his dinner. Enjoyed hearing about his journey of becoming the owner & the visions he has to make this bed & breakfast even more amazing. We look forward to our stay next year & seeing all the improvements he has in store! Thank you for an awesome stay!!

We loved it!!! This place was so charming. Everyone who worked there was fantastic including the new owner. Our room was soooo nice and clean. It just has a super relaxing vibe. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. We loved just hanging out on the front porch and having a few drinks at night.

The only negative thing we experienced was an uncomfortable bed but we spoke to the owner while we were there and he mentioned top of the line new beds are already ordered (and are probably already there at this point) the beds there when we stayed were from the previous owner.

We can not wait to go back and see all of the exciting new renovations the owner was telling us about.

My boyfriend and I had stayed for a long weekend from Manhattan. The hotel is under new ownership as of July and you can tell! They are doing an amazing job. Management is great! Breakfast is great! The aesthetic is in transition from traditional to chic. Cant wait to come back in the fall once the renovations are done!
