We love this place! Food is delicious, prices are reasonable and service is good!
Bangkok House offers truly authentic Thai hospitality and dishes. Amazed by their spring rolls with fragrant thai basil served with complimentary warm homemade peanut satay sauce. Yum. Had seconds. Ordered pad see yew along with fried Seafood rice. Service was very attentive, helpful and nice. Looking forward to returning soon
My friend and I had the flounder fillet special with vegetables. Although I could tell it was not flounder, and probably cod, it was delicious. We loved the variety of fresh veggies that were in the dish, kept heated by a small candle and silver casserole. From the outside of the restaurant, it looked as if it were converted from a diner. Inside, however was a beautifully decorated restaurant with lovely wooden tables, outstandingly elegant table cloths and runners, topped with glass, authentic lantern lighting and wonderful costumes that the waitresses and hostess wore. The lavatories were old but kept clean (I would suggest they install hooks inside the stalls for pocketbooks for the women). We were served at a good pace and the staff were all gracious and pleasant. The restaurant is conveniently located just about a mile or so from Monmouth Mall so after dinner we went Christmas shopping, and the stores were empty by 8pm on a Saturday night. We plan to return to this restaurant with family members.
Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Restaurant was empty. We were promptly seated and our order was taken. We started off with the shrimp dumplings that were steamed well. We then had the curry chicken and shrimp pad Thai and ordered it spicy. I was glad that they listened and it actually came out spicy. Will be back to try more
We've been wanting to try Bangkok for years and finally did. Banner outside says Best Thai Restaurant according to the NY Times. We had a dish with scallops, shrimp, squid with vegetables in a soy based sauce. It was excellent!!
Definitely worth a visit !
