The Baklava Lady

The family owned and ran cafe offers delicious and fresh Turkish vegan salads soups and pastries along with their breads and breakfast plates just makes this place a gem. I almost regret reviewing this because I want to keep it to myself. The only drawback is seating is limited but it's worth the wait.

I've been to The Baklava Lady twice and haven't been disappointed yet. The staff are friendly and ready to explain to you the different items on the menu. The food is delicious, there's a wide range of baked goods, and the ambience is great. Although there was a constant stream of customers, the service was fast. So happy to have a vegan restaurant close to where I live.

Came here today with my boyfriend & had such a great experience!! Cozy atmosphere, and the food and drinks were delicious and made with love. I have never had an avocado toast as delicious as this one. Very friendly staff too. Definitely will be back soon!

You have ruined me for any other baklava ever.... SO delicious! The cafe is beautiful, cozy and takes me back to a spectacular vacation in Turkey and Greece. It’s homey, comfortable and decorated perfectly. Plus, it smelled so delightful that I wish I could bottle the scents! Best of all though, is the baklava. It was just sweet enough, flaky and moist at once, not one bit soggy and bursting with fresh flavor. Tried traditional and pistachio and my family said we may just have to try everything (and live at the gym too so we don’t weigh 800 pounds, but you only live once!) The cafe items look amazing too and we will definitely be back. You and your entire team are friendly and warm and it was like going to your best friends house for dessert. Thanks for creating a little piece of Mediterranean heaven in Englishtown!

Absolutely delicious! All the baked goods are delicious, as is the savory dishes. Not one thing was any less than amazing. The environment is warm and friendly. It’s the kind of place you just leave happy.
