Terrace Bagels & Cafe

Well, if you enjoy American breakfast i.e home fries then yeah it is quite good. The bagel is soft and tasty 👍 the home fries is crispy and well seasoned.

My wife made a request for bagels before I started my return drive to GA from NJ. The unanimous LEO and local recommendation was Terrace Bagel and after my experience, I completely understand why.

The store was busy but moving efficiently. The service was great and two different employees checked to make sure I had everything before I hit the road. And the store was very clean. (I’ve got a service animal and it makes a difference. Kudos.)

Everything was wrapped well - no spillage, no spreads finding their way out of the bag - and the cold brew was pretty good.

My wife and children loved the black and whites, devoured the blueberry bagels.

But the real prize was the pastrami on rye. It has been years since I have visited a decent deli (just isn’t the same down here) and had the privilege of enjoying an “eyes closed while eating it”sandwich. But somewhere along the road while skirting the Shenandoah Valley, I had that moment when I unwrapped that beautiful rye. I honestly had to stop to enjoy it because i lost all focus.

So, in the midst of a 14 hour drive along the East Coast with white clouds rolling in, the sun shining down, and green hills all around me…that pastrami on rye stopped being just one of the best sandwiches I’d ever had and started reminding me of all the good stuff in my life. (Probably should have ordered ten of them.)

And for that, I am grateful.

A little pricey but what isn't these days. Excellent service, clean and delicious bagels! The exterior isn't much to look at as they're renovating the plaza but don't judge this book by its cover as the inside has a very modern design with a coffee hose kind of vibe. I just had a sesame bagel with plain cream cheese and it ranks up there with the big boys when it comes to real, Brooklyn bagels. I want on a Sunday so it was quite busy and even at 1pm, the bagel was nice and fresh. The cream cheese was portioned in a generous amount which really compliments a fresh bagel and is something that I look for when visiting a bagel store. Next time, I will expand apon my culinary desire but for a first time, I had to go basic. I gave it five stars and will be back!

On my recent visit I ordered two dozen bagels in which I was taking cross country. The staff individually wrap each one making it very easy to pack in my luggage. Thank you !!
