(October 17, 2018, 3:49 pm)Casual Filipino food in Hazlet, NJ. The empenadas were good (filling was not spicy more savory), the crusts are baked, so they have a light sweetness. Overall they reminded me of chicken pot pie that I could pick up. Yum! Our favorite so far is the tamarind chicken. We aren't Filipino and my kids gobbled it all up. We tried Ube Halaya, it's like a sweet-milky yam stuff. Good!
