Gourmet Italian Delights

WOW! I saw this ice cream place from the signs and wanted to go check it out. The outdoor seating was amazing and the ice cream was great. I asked to try some flavors, and they invited me to try more and would say things like "if you liked this flavor, try this flavor." The ice cream was high quality and service was excellent. They let me try half of all the ice cream and it was all great. They also have lactose intolerant ice cream for people AND dogs. Very nice people, will most definitely be back!

My cousins and I had stumbled upon Gourmet Italian Delights while in the area after enjoying some food from Keyport Fishery. We were at the waterside parking lot and noticed the shop with the bright colors and signs and we decided to take a walk over. We were immediately welcomed by Olivia and her grandmother. They both made us feel so welcomed and literally felt like we were a part of their family. They explained how their gelato was made and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted. This place is not for the indecisive! Their gelato is creamy and flavorful. We all loved the texture and the chunks within the different flavors. I had decided on the coffee in a sea salt caramel flavored waffle cone. Yes they also have flavored waffle cones! The flavors of the cone and gelato complimented each other well. The coffee gelato had some chunks of coffee grinds that enhanced the flavor so well! My sister had gotten the birthday cake and loved the chunks of birthday cake. We all enjoyed the gelato the first time and recently had come back again. Olivia and her grandmother had remembered us and welcomed us back in with open arms. She told us about some new menu items and of course we wanted to try it! It was a hot chocolate with a scoop of ice cream. We were immediately sold on it and yes it was delicious! Of course we got some gelato as well!

We love the right knit family atmosphere at Gourmet Italian Delights. Every customer feels so welcomed upon coming in. The gelato is definitely the best I have found in the area! And this place is worth the drive from North Jersey. We will be back again!

We just left & couldn't stop talking about what an awesome place the entire drive home. The second we walked in we were greeted with the warmest hello & were welcomed to taste test any flavor we wanted. Im not a huge ice cream person so I went with mango sorbet, my wife had what I believe was called chocolate delight & we got our toddler a small chocolate ice cream. AMAZING. I would have come back for the service alone but then top that with amazing ice cream ??‍♀️ I'm sold. Hope they stick around! They were great.

This place by far is one of my favorite ice cream places I’ve ever been to. I mean this is actually how ice cream should taste.

Fair warning if you try this place and get ice cream elsewhere you won’t be satisfied with other ice cream stores anywhere. I know this place is now my go to ice cream place and I love rushing home from a long day at work to get some of their amazing ice cream!

This is coming from someone that’s also lactose intolerant, sure it doesn’t completely agree with me. But I will say that this ice cream and their foods agree with me more than any other places I’ve eaten at.

I love all the staff they have at this family owned business, they’re super polite and friendly and make you feel like you’re at a home and not a business. It’s very welcoming inside the place and whenever I have a hard time making decisions-they staff always makes great options for me to try!

Great place for Ice Cream, so many different delicious flavors and they had ice cream flavors that I never saw or tasted before. I never had ice cream like this before, definitely worth going here. The view and location of this place is really good , I was sitting on the patio looking at the ocean and enjoying the sunset. The staff is so friendly and courteous. I will definitely go back here again.
