I AM GIVING COLOMBIAN CAFE 5 STARS BECAUSE OF THE SERVICE,STAFF,THE FOOD AND OF COURSE THE PRICES ARE JUST VERY AFFORDABLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STABLISHMENT AND IF YOU DO VISIT THIS PLACE ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JUST ORDER A DELICIOUS CUP OF COLOMBIAN COFFEE IT'S SO RICH AND IT'S WAY MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER THAN THAT RUBBISH THAT STARBUCKS SELLS. I GIVE THIS PLACE AN A+A+A+A+A+A+
Very good food and service, truly enjoyed my experience. Definitely a plus in the area! Will return soon!
They have the best chicken arepas in the area! I will definitely be back. Thanks!
My family and I stopped by this weekend for a meal. We were looking for a place to eat and as we drove by, Colombian Cafe caught our eye. This is a relatively new eatery. My wife's favorite restaurant is up north and happens to be a Colombian restaurant. We have a set a high bar when it comes to quality Colombian food.
At first, we were PUMPED to find a Colombian restaurant in the area. There aren't many or even any in this area that we are aware of.
When we entered, we were greeted by a display of baked Colombian foods that looked joyfully familiar. We were quickly seated by a kind hearted server.
We started off with some empanadas and a baked good with guava and cheese. The empanadas were served with two different sauces, a red sauce and a green sauce. The portions of our main courses were huge! We were impressed by the amount of food that was served for the price.
Overall the food is delicious. We all enjoyed our meals and agreed we would be coming back soon. Only thing we could comment on an area to improve would be on the beans that are served with each of the entrees. The beans were served in a small bowl and we all felt the beans were watery and could use a flavor boost.
We will be back. Thank you Colombian Cafe for bringing a new cultural option in the central NJ.
Had a dish called Bandeja paisa, unbelievably delicious!!!! For $17 you get this plate of food with steak, pork, sausage, egg, rice, beans, plantains, all fresh ingredients that could of fed 2-people. I would have paid $27 for this dish. Authentic Hispanic cuisine, hands down the best around. Service was really good, I had a fresh mango drink that was awesome. This is my new go to place. Get over there and give it a try, guaranteed you will not be disappointed.
