Squan Tavern

Nice place. Atmosphere was nice. Service very professional. Food was good. Place is kid friendly. We were there on the early dinner side so not sure if the place gets crowded during regular dinner hours.

Squan tavern was a quaint locals pub. Staff was attentive and friendly. Ordered a large bar pie. Half pepperoni half shrimp. Extra 13 dollars for toppings. A bit excessive.
Pizza is delicious. Martini was very generous.

Love their pizza and selection of beers. This is one of my dad’s favorite places to go for lunch. They have the kind of wait staff knows their regulars and appreciates the locals. Recently went there for a dinner and drinks with my friend - got there around 5:30 and sat at the bar. It got really crowded around dinner time which was good for us because that was around the time we were ready to leave. One of the few places that I have been where when it is very crowded you can still sit and have a conversation without yelling/not be able to hear who you are talking to. Always a pleasure to be at!

A local favorite, a staple on this community for over 50 years. The atmosphere is warm, the staff are attentive and the food is very, very, good. We sat at the bar during this visit and enjoyed a good conversation with the tender and good service. We had some appetizers, including meatballs, antipasto and some garlic knots. All were excellent.

This is one of the yummiest restaurants on the Jersey shore. All of the food is delicious. If blackened scallops are on the menu that day, get them. The pepperoni pizza is magic. It’s definitely family friendly.
