    Great food ... amazing food in fact ...a little on the pricier side ... there’s a 20% service charge for I guess larger groups . I do not like the idea of ordering a huge amount of food only to discover that you are going to be getting charged 20% more than you expected . A service charge should be based on the patrons discretion and not on an undisclosed mandatory percentage... good food though

    We eat out frequently and this is our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent and is always fresh, delicious and made to order. The taste is authentic Turkish. We enjoy Turkish food and have tried many other Turkish restaurants in NJ and Galata by far is the best one. There are many vegetarian dishes such as a delicious variety of salads and meat free main courses. They serve authentic Turkish tea and coffee. The service is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. This is a wonderful break from Italian and diner food. A real gem in NJ !

    The restaurant is very nice. The food is very good.
    Amazing selection of Mediterranean flavor in so many dishes! Everything was great, the kebabs had so much flavor, the appetizers were right on point and the staff and management make you feel right at home!!! Would definitely recommend this place for lunch, dinner and to take out!
