The Pastrami House

I go to Brookdale and I always pass this place and today I wanted to try it. Best decision I made! Pastrami and corn beef was soooo good! And there Shrimp salad is so good I'm going back on Monday!

There is nothing like this in this area. So it is needed in this area. Food was good. We got there close to closing and they were very accommodating and we still add access to full menu. The hot corn beef and pastrami were good. The rye bread could have been better. It was crumbly and the crust was very soft. The side of Cole slaw was very small. Comes with a sour dill pickle and you have to pay for a whole half sour pickle if you dont want sour. The half sour was very rubbery ..no crunch at all. We are used to Richard's deli with lots of choices of complimentary pickles and side salads. Good selections of bottled sodas and diet. They do not have any ice. We will go back to try other choices.

When you walk in you know immediatly that you are in a great place for foodies. Great selction of high quality sandwiches and salads. A true jewel of the Jersey Shore. Stopped in once and now I'm hooked.

I cant get to Katz's deli easily anymore but this place satisfies the need for pastrami and corned beef. It is probably the best pastrami in Monmouth county, if not beyond. Plus all the requisite sides! Go, you'll love it.
