The only reason it's getting 4 stars is the setting. We reserved a table and in the picture the place looks nicer than it is, at least the left side of the establishment. That is the only thing I can day was bad about this place.
The food is great. We had chicken skewers for appetizers and they were so good. The sauce used on it had a unique flavor, my husband the picky eater actually enjoyed it.
I had the chicken imperial with the brown rice. I'm not normally a fan of brown rice so no surprise I wasn't terrible crazy about it but it was still good.
Though I liked my meal and was filled by it I stole a piece of steak from my husband. His meal was DELICIOUS! If you go to this location order that, you won't be disappointed. The steak was so tender and the sauce used was incredible. As I mentioned before my husband is very particular about his food and he said it was by the best steak he's ever had.
Aside from the food the service was great as well. Our server, Amanda, was informative and kind. She was very attentive and made sure that we were happy with our meals.
All in all a great experience.
Good food and service. Appetizer for 2 was very good and scallops. Tasted everyone else's order and special fried rice (shrimp chicken and pork) great. A little pricey, we've been going here for 5 years.
Staff was friendly and the food of high quality. I would recommend their Velvet Chicken which has a white wine sauce. Their Egg Drop Soup has chicken and corn with a lighter broth than what is usually served commonly elsewhere.
The best Chinese food I have eaten in a long time. Since I lived in China. I had the Ma Po Tofu and my dining companion had Basil Chicken Lo Fun. Both extraordinarily well prepared and flavorful. Temple makes their own tofu and this was apparent. Super silky and tasty. The Basil noodle dish was so yummy as well. I wish I lived closer to Red Bank so I could ear here a few times a week.
