Local Smoke BBQ

Went here for a quick dinner. Food is amazing, prices are great, and service is quick. I would highly recommend the Greens. Many people aren't familiar with them as a cooked veggie side dish, but this place does them so well. The meats are all excellent - so pick your preference there... But give the greens a try as a side dish - you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I had the brisket sandwich which was very tasty and not over cooked. You have a variety of sauces at each table to try. i prefer my brisket sliced thin, especially on a sandwich. The cut is thick and short. I unfortunately had mine served at room temperature. Had it been at least warm I think the flavors would have stood out more. I did mention this and was offered to put it on the grill to warm it up. I think that might have dried it out if I did. There is a TV to watch if you are dining solo. I will try it again and see if I can push another star.

Awesome food! Good portion sizes. They have a good selection of sides and good sweet tea offered with lemons you can put in yourself.

Great BBQ. Reasonably priced. Good sized portions. Everything is custom order so you need to wait a few minutes. But it’s definitely not fast food. All the meats are smoked beautifully. Tender and full of flavor. The coleslaw is the best in the area. The smokehouse BBQ Burger is so good. Definitely generous with the bacon.

Local also has to-go and family packages. So we get take out enough to know it’s a good deal and plenty of food.

I have been to the Neptune store and it’s the same quality. The Red Bank location is a little more upscale but still casual.

They have one of the best Ribs in NJ. Sides are all delicious and large quantities. Sauces are very good. Good to eat in or take out. You will not be disappointed. Son plays hockey and now it is the go to place after we visit red bank to play the Generals. Try their mac and cheese bites, baked beans, and green beans. You will love it.
