Tommy’s Tavern + Tap

Food and beer were good. Atmosphere is very nice. Service was awesome.

This place has good food. It's nice and big and the TVs are really big so watching football here is great. Only complaint is some bartenders aren't so customer friendly. I asked for my check and the guy continued to clean and restock and remove dishes from the bar. I understand if you do that and it just takes a minute but when he continues to do so for 10-15 minutes while I am staring at him "Like what's up, I asked for my check". I was on a timeline and had to leave and he just kept cleaning away. No smile, no thank you. Rude.

I know that everybody and their brother love this place. I don't mind it, but I'd never go there if it wasn't 2 miles from my house.
Positives: Awesome wings, they have a little bit of everything, which is good for indecisive families. Sushi, burgers, pizza, steaks, seafood, you name it. The beer selection is good.
Negatives: There is often a wait for a table, not like 10 minutes, more like 45 minutes to an hour. Subsequently, there are often no seats at the bar. As previously mentioned, they have a little bit of everything, nothing (other than the wings) stands out. Better sushi is 2 blocks away, better burgers at Barnacle Bills, better pasta at Angelica's, better pizza at Zachary's, better steaks almost anywhere.

It's a great place and in a great location! What I love about Tommy's Tavern is the space from inside to outside!! It can fit a lot of people without a feeling of overwhelming crowd.
The food variety is versatile and very good quality! The bartenders are quick and knowledgeable , respectful and responsive!
It's a type of atmosphere that makes you want to come back for more!!
