Circus Drive-In

Good for a summer evening dinner, The Circus is a Shore staple. The food is consistent from year to year, and the dining area is clean, bright, and friendly. The young wait staff are nice and helpful, and families are definitely encouraged here. We love The Circus!!

Cute little novelty that happens to also have great food. Makes you really feel like you're in a time warp. The ice cream is super delicious

The lobster rolls are the best I've ever had. They make them with cucumber instead of celery so they're 500x better than traditional lobster rolls imo

It's not amazing food but it's not the worst either. The staff is usually pleasant but there have been times where I am waiting to place an order and they are just lounging around talking. Another thing that bothered me was that I had ordered soft shell crab sandwich and asked if they cleaned the crab before I ordered it. She went to the kitchen, came back and said yes. Well, no it is not cleaned, I took a bite into that horrible yellow. If you eat blue claw, you know. Other than that, if you aren't expecting the world here you will be happy.

I have been visiting the circus since I was a kid (40 years plus) and we have NEVER had an issue with the food. There is always going to be that person who does have a bad experience but my friends and family have had everything from soft shell crab to hot dogs to ceasar salad wraps and loved all of it. The waitresses are super friendly and it's always been a great experience here. Yes you may have to wait but keep in mind there are a lot of tables around the back as well as car service. The bathrooms are even immaculate. Give it a try.
