What an amazing place. Not only is it completely clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are affordable. Today I walked in and both of my credit cards got declined to. On my way out the nice girl caught me at the door saying “here you can have it. It happens to all of us.” Thank you so much. There are still good people in the world.
So happy they opened a playa bowls in Chester. Place is awesome. Fresh, delicious bowls. Just wish they didn't play pop / hits / dance music inside. Kills the whole beach / surfer vibe.
Usually my experience is fantastic. However, today I ordered my usual (Costa Bowl, no mint). When I received it and took it home, I opened it to find that they used the wrong base. They put coconut, which i’m allergic to, instead of banana which is the correct one. I had to throw away the bowl.
What a difference in 24 hours. I decided to give this place another chance. The service was great and the assistant manager was very apologetic for the disaster on the previous day even though she wasn't even present at the time.
I still want to see the video the owner was looking at to make his comments below which are absolutely not true.
Thank you for your response to my comment earlier today regarding the horrible service. While I do agree that your worker was working very hard everything else in your comment is untrue. I placed my order at 1:13pm and walked out of the store without my bowl at 1:45pm. The bowl was still not ready or else I would have taken it as I no longer had time to get any lunch today. The manager never apologized and never offered a discount. The only thing he asked was for my credit card info. Please save the video as I would love to see it. I will be in your store tomorrow to see what you are looking at because it is clearly not me.
