    Decent Italian fare. A little overpriced for what you get. I remember being charged 6 dollars for a small glass of milk for a child

    So not impressed! For that level of prices, food is totally blend and tasteless. Didn’t even order deserts, since they didn’t look particularly good. One appetizer, two second courses and the bottle of wine - $120 (not counting tips)! Will not be returning.

    L'Allegria is like a visit to an exquisite villa where a 5-star personal chef prepares Italia's greatest dinners. The setting, extensive, thoughtful menu, wines that pair beautifully with each course, an impeccable service all complement an extraordinary gourmet experience. Toss the Passport! Italy is on Prospect Street, Madison!

    Hearty authentic Italian. Good portions and great staff. I travel a lot and nothing says comfort food to me like a big bowl of pasta. The escarole and bean soup was icing on the cake. Just like my grandma made it.
