Just driving by and decided to stop. Lobster roll and crab cake sandwich were both fantastic, plenty of fresh lobster and the crab cake you can tell was fresh made. Chicken cheesesteak was also very good. Recommended to call ahead, there’s a bit of a wait - but that’s what you want in a food truck. You want your food prepared when it’s ordered and not sitting around. Excellent work and welcome to Madison!
The food was really good!!! I oreder a buffalo chicken wrap and my boyfriend ordered a philly cheesesteak sandwich. Nice and filling lot of meat. Nice French fries as well!????
I’ve gotten it twice so far, cheesesteak fries and crab cake sandwich, and both were delicious. I had the opportunity to chat to the one of the owners for a bit and he’s a really nice guy which is always a plus. I live nearby so I plan on getting through the entire menu by summer!
Seymours Food Truck is the spiritual successor to Peppers Pub Grub, which was another Food Truck located in the same exact spot, and was the only food establishment in the area that maintained a 5 Star Score.
Because of this I had very high expectations because I wanted the same quality food as Peppers, and personal preference aside, I believe that Seymours is a worthy follow-up.
The menu does not seem as large or as variable, but they have just started so I am hopefully that over time the menu will expand. There were more ingredients that I am not particular fond of, but this does not take away from the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff.
Overall I am very pleased with my first stop at Seymours, and time will tell if it can maintain the same level of excellence as its predecessor.
