Millie’s Old World Meatballs & Pizza

Food was great. I had meatballs in marinara as my entree, very tasty. Service was prompt, no problems there. I didn't like how cramped the seating arrangement was. Not nearly enough room to be comfortable.

Food: 5/5 - The meatballs were really something different! Coming from an Italian family I have never had a fried meatball. Now this place seems to be all about the meatballs but let me tell you something... This coal fired white pizza I had was straight up remarkable and memorable!!! A little pricey across the board but you can tell everything was fresh.
Service: 4/5 - No issues, server was nice and pleasant.

The friendly hostess and patient knowledgeable waiter were terrific. Whoever answered the phone when I inquired if reservations were taken for a party less than 8, the employee was awful, very rude. Wait time without reservation was 20 minutes on a Friday night. Once we were seated it took 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us & take at least a drink order (even though, by then, we were ready to order our entrees). Time between ordering and being served was a bit lengthy - another 30 minutes. Place has so much potential, really great atmosphere, huge menu, wait staff was super nice, but sadly, the slow service, rude person who answered the phone, and average food concludes we won't be going again. Sadly.

Decent meatball sub. We got the caprice appetizer and it was huge and delicious. It's pricey- about $14 for a meatball sub.

Service was slow and awful. No drink refills until we were done eating, had to ask for the check twice, and a salad that was ordered never came out. The waitress looked irritated we were even in there.

So I ordered 4 pies of pizza on the website to be delivered for my staff. The total was almost $84 which I thought was high but then I thought it must be really good pizza, so I paid and had them delivered. What showed up was 4 personal-sized pizzas, I was shocked as it did not state on the website personal-sized (4 small slices per pie). So I called and spoke to the manager who was the nicest man, he had 4 new pizzas made up and delivered. Beware their pizza are small but well worth the price, they taste amazing and they are really nice people working there. Thank you for first class service!
