The Madison Hotel Morristown, NJ

I attended a wedding at this venue and it was just beautiful. Charming and historic. SIDE NOTE: it reminded me of the Shining hotel. Deep red carpeting throughout and so very easy to get lost. I was waiting for Nicholson to be sipping a cocktail at the bar.😅🤣😅🍷here's Johnny!!!

The rooms are a great size and very spacious. I didn't realize when I booked that it was an extremely popular wedding spot. There was an private event every evening during the week, which I am sure is perfect for those attending. Not so great for everyone else. The overall quality of the extras (soaps, breakfast, refreshments) is below average, imo. They do have a dated, but cozy elegance and I enjoyed the fun pineapple them throughout the hotel.

After staying in many many hotels this one has got to be at the top of my favorite. Grandly unique and ornate. I enjoyed walking around and seeing the history and art of the place. The room was comfortable and fashionable. The pool was absolutely my favorite part and I went first thing in the morning so I was lucky enough to have it all to myself. The only quorum I have is with the front desk staff. A little bit of an attitude and when I asked for assistance it took a little due to the conversation the two ladies were having. Overall though, highly highly recommend.
