The Godfather of Parsippany

Was very excited about the new spot, hoping to get some good pizza in Parsippany. Unfortunately very disappointed. The 3 stars was because the staff was so nice - but that’s about it.

Ordered ahead, and when I walked in was very worried after seeing how commercial take out place looking the inside was.

The pizza slices to order in the glass looked very good but when it came to the pizza I ordered it was undercooked and very bland. I think I know why, there was about 12 people waiting for orders and they were probably swamped in the back and cranking out as fast as possible - but it literally was not cooked right, needed at least 3-5 more minutes.

Also, ordered wings. The frozen super thick breading kind is not my favorite, which is fine - didn’t expect them to make wings from fresh chicken and a gamble I take every time a menu says breaded chicken wings, but the complaint I have is that the outside was cooked and inside meat by bone was cold still.

The chicken fingers were good, no complaints. Like the steak fries.

Maybe we will try them again another time when they aren’t busy - hopefully will have a better experience.

I will say the staff is very nice, friendly and helpful which is great to see. Especially nowadays when it’s so hard to come across good employees.

Also, this has nothing to do with my review of the food. But why only Pepsi? Lol. I understand if you’re a huge chain and it’s a multi-million dollar contract. But if you’re a local pizza spot get some Coca-Cola, I promise no one is going to say, “I cant believe they don’t have Pepsi” - literally doesn’t matter but I just thought it was interesting they only had Pepsi.

We've been trying to find a good place to have Italian food/pizza. We finally did, the boss, my wife loves it. So far, we have ordered twice and its been delicious. Thanks to all of you at Godfathers of Parsippany. Best wishes and good luck.

Very good, well run and clean...you want to know how good an establishment like this is go on their busiest day during their busiest time and see how they perform. I must say I am very satisfied and the food was good and hot, and came out as promised on time...

My first time ordering food from this place. I must say everything was Delicious. I got the penne pasta with vodka sauce. Caesar salad and the personal cheese pizza along with fried calamari. This place did not disappoint. I will be ordering food from here from now on.

I’m so happy you guys are here! Stopped in for a quick lunch. Everything was delicious! I had the Godmother salad and a margarita pie to go. It did not disappoint.
