Black River Barn

I wish I had taken the time to photograph my food before eating it, but it was so good that I ate it too fast! One of my favorite parts of the restaurant was the ambiance. It is big and open, but despite having a very full house, the noise was not overwhelming. The service was fantastic.

We ordered a bar pizza (about the size of a medium pie), pot stickers, and chicken fingers. All of it was delicious. I can't wait to go back!

I hadn't been to this restaurant in many years because at the time I thought it was average at best. I also always had longed for the days of the Millbrook Barn before it burned down and thought that this restaurant was sort of a lame excuse for a replacement. A couple of weeks ago my daughter insisted we eat at the restaurant with the cow on the sign. I was pleasantly surprised, especially by the quality of the food and the extent of the children's menu which even had baby back ribs on it. The waitress was very sweet and attentive and being able to sit near a roaring fire was a bonus. I'm happy to see that this restaurant has matured quite a bit and I look forward to stopping in again soon.

Great food. Has good ambience, relaxed and casual. Prices are reasonable. The food selections are a cut above other places of this type. The spicy pickles they give you are excellent

Had the rib dinner and they were delicious. It came with cornbread that was delicious and had onion rings that were also perfect. My son order the Mac and cheese. It came out very loose and running ???????? but it was delicious! Everything was delicious!!!!

Just had dinner there. The food was delicious, especially the spinach mushroom rolls. The service was excellent! From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, the staff was awesome, especially our server. We will definitely go back!
