La Bamba Express

So glad I stopped in!! Would have never known from the boulevard how fun the atmosphere is inside or how incredible their food is!!

Have been a Beach Haven resident for over 25 years and no place around them compares. Barry’s, Bird and Betty’s, Stefano’s, and Gazebo, I still love you, but La Bamba is in a league of their own!

Get the fish tacos with their homemade La Bamba sauce…never enjoyed anything more in all my life!!!

The best kept secret of LBI! Best meal I've ever had on the island. And it's hidden right in front of all the people waiting in line at the Chegg! (I hope they never find out.)

We got the fish tacos and carne asada. You can tell whoever crafted these dishes put a huge amount of thought behind them. Perfect flavors, perfect balance, and generous portions that leave you wanting to come back to eat here tomorrow. (And the day after that.)

Guarantee this place will have lines out the door by next summer!!

Great addition to Beach Haven. Been here several times already and each time the food has been terrific. Tacos great. Fajitas great. Best horchata I've ever had. Inside is very nice and comfortable or get tacos to go after the beach. Thank you La Bamba.

La Bamba Express served of the best Mexican food I’ve eaten (I’ve visited a lot of Mexican restaurants… NYC, California, Australia, and down by the border). Generous portion sizes, flavorful food, nutritious and filling. The hot sauces are homemade and taste great. The menu is extensive, and the restaurant is roomy with good air conditioning. Would highly recommend for anyone in search of authentic tasty Mexican food while on LBI.
