So happy there is a pastrami house closer to home. Amazing pastrami and corned beef. The staff is great... very friendly. Great customer service. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back

Went there today for the first time & the food was delicious. Ordered take out & had 3 different soups & the corned beef reuben, extra lean. Everything was outstanding! They were busy, so there was a bit of a wait, but they are a new business & everyone is still learning. The owner was extremely pleasant & was talking to all the customers. So happy to have a great deli in Jackson & will definitely be back. Most importantly, the place was spotless!!!!

I am an employee at the pastrami house, not a young adult but in my 40’s. I would like to respond to a review made in regards to how our employer speaks to us, and a few other comments. Some of the comments made in my opinion were hurtful, harsh and disrespectful. We are a new business, open just a few weeks.. Like any new business we are working out the kinks, finding our chemistry with each other on the line and throughout the establishment . These things do not happen over night, as I know all to well from owning a couple of successful businesses in the past. With this being said, my boss/employer is a very respectful, caring experienced business owner/man. Whom is teaching us all facets of this business, so at any time, any one of us employed here/The Pastrami House, can satisfy our customers, present and in the future with a great meal or to be able to handle any concerns if they arise. He does not berate us in anyway or at anytime. Im an adult and would not tolerate such behavior from an employer,, coworker nor a stranger on the street. If you have heard him raise his voice it’s not to be mean. He may be speaking over the equipment, or making sure the right person hears him or he maybe simply correcting something else. When you make these comments about him or the food, your offending all of us whom are working very hard to bring you something great. If you do have a concern, or unhappy with something please feel free to let us know. All things can be addressed and corrected on the spot. If something is dry , we can correct that, if something is Luke warm we can adjust that, if something is not to your liking, give us a chance to make it better. This man has been in the business a very long time, and knows what he is doing. He is teaching some of us how to do it correct and to perfection. I’ve been to the Carnegie deli in NY. I was not very satisfied with my order there. However, I wasn’t nasty about it, and gave them another chance. These are not deli meats we buy at a grocery store. There cooked in the morning and throughout the day to make sure everything is fresh.. I’ve lived in Jackson almost 20 yrs. We finally have something new besides pizza, Chinese food and diners. We all have the freedom of speech, take a minute and talk to the owner, and you will see for yourself that he is a wonderful, caring business owner/man who is truly putting his heart and soul into this establishment. He cares about all of his employees and customers. Share your thoughts and concerns, if any, good and bad. You will not be disappointed if you take a minute and speak with him/Nick. I can guarantee you will walk away happy, with a different outlook that you took that time to talk with him and get to know him, and our establishment. Thank you..

Food was amazing. Fat to meat ratio was perfect. The pastrami was tender and juicy with lots of flavor. I can’t wait to go back. And to all the people leaving bad reviews. That’s all you do is leave bad reviews. So I take none of your reviews seriously. The staff was pleasant and the owner a very nice and spoke with us the whole time.

Matzo Ball soup was so good and the latkas were cooked to perfection! I tried the pastrami last week, one of the first things I tried and that was delicious too. Owner is very nice and staff is trying hard to learn. Hope everyone can be a little nicer and give them a chance. Happy to have a new addition in town.
