Sunrise Bagels

So I decided to try out Sunrise Bagel today. Let me start by saying the food is so delicious and fresh!! They have such a wonderful atmosphere when you walk in. The ladies that work there are so pleasant, they make you feel like family!! I have found my new favorite spot! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!

Good thing about this place is you are greeted with a smile 😃 I got there a few minutes before they closed without realizing that they were closing and the woman didn’t hesitate to serve me. I also wanted my ham and Swiss to be warmed and she had no issue doing so…… and then she went from the register area and went to slice the ham with no gloves on and then placed it on the griddle with her bare hands…. All 3 thin slices of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese. Then she made the sandwich with no gloves on. She then washed her hands and came back to the register to charge me. I paid $13 cash for a 3 slice of ham and 1 slice of swiss sandwich, bag of Doritos and a Snapple which she counted with her hands and placed the money in the register.
Then she bagged my food and proceeded to give me 4 mini bagels free of charge because she had made to many but once again threw them into my bag with no gloves on AGAIN!!!
The place is cute a d clean but they need to step their game up on common sense. This is 2021 and you don’t touch food with your bare hands anymore in case you haven’t been out much lately.
Sandwich was good but lacking in meat and cheese and just unappetizing as I knew it wasn’t made with 100% care.
Unfortunately due to the lack of common food safety procedures I probably won’t be back or recommend this place.

OMG best bagel I’ve had in a while. Soft and fluffy, absolutely delicious. Vegetable cream cheese was perfect.

Got a Pork Roll Egg & Cheese on a plain Bagel. It was very good. They use Trenton Pork Roll you can't go wrong with that.

Used to be better. It looks more clean now, but the menu is no longer visible, bagels are sub par and tuna salad tasted below previously set expectations.
