Gringo's Taco Shack

Quaint taco joint right on Route 35. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and is served up quick. The owners are lifelong locals who connect with their customers.

JD and Greg are masters of their craft. If you want the best tacos on the island go no further! Breakfast is awesome too! Brisket, street corn, and salsa Verde is my personal favorite...

This is the kind of place I could eat at every day and never get bored. The tacos are extremely flavorful and reasonably priced. The breakfast menu sounds amazing - I can't wait to try it! If you're debating a more local option vs this, it is well worth the drive!

Nice place to eat, good variety of tacos and burrito for lunch and dinner, even a breakfast menu. Went with a group everyone loved their taco choices which included beef, pork, fish, chicken, and shrimp, (there are more choices but we didn't try them all) we chose our platters with lime rice and some tried red and other had black beans. Also note, the fresh salsa bar had great choices with the hottest green having added pineapple, a mix of both hot and sweet try some on your pork taco, I did. Oh yeah decor is also nice on the nice days I'll try the outside dining area but this visit it was cold so we stayed inside.

Great option for a fast casual meal. Plenty of gluten free and dairy free options. Everyone inside is very nice. Try the chorizo and potato taco... Awesome!
