I give three stars mostly for the view. They lack attention to detail. Presentation isn’t even a consideration. I’ve tried this place three different times. The food is bland and the chef seems more interested in getting it on the plate than considering flavors. Everything is bland. Mushy, watery vegetables. The service isn’t bad but on my last visit the waitress decided not to bring back change and helped herself to a 40% tip. I had to track her down to ask about it and her response was that people usually say keep the change. I pointed out that I did not say that She then asked how much I wanted back. At that point I was embarrassed in front of my colleagues and advised her to just keep it. To which she responded that she was nice. As if I should be grateful for that. If you want to pay for the view, I recommend this place. If you’re going for the food, don’t bother. If you’re looking for a pleasant experience with wait staff, definitely go some place else.
A hidden away Jem of a restaurant. Amazing scenery of the bay. Great and friendly service. Delicious food. Live entertainment.I will definitely return. Great job to Kelly,Katie and Crew.
It exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly and attentive. The shark bite appetizer did not disappoint! The crab bisque was rich and delicious. And we both enjoyed our entrees (bacon wrapped scallops and red snapper). All were cooked and seasoned well. The food plus the view are a win-win. We will be back.
What a nice waterfront gem in Waretown this place is. It’s a seafood place as to be expected. My older son and I had the bacon wrapped scallops, my daughter had a salmon sandwich, the rest of our party had cheeseburgers. None of us were disappointed. It’s a BYOB type of place but they do have a limited selection of wine on the premises. Our server was Belle, whom was gracious all evening. Very friendly atmosphere. You may sit outside or dine indoors. We opted for outside and were not disappointed. It was not the least buggy. The view of the bay amazing. Price was a little more than typical but worth it. No waiting. Good service.
We went to Monkfish Waterfront Grill to treat our Dad for Father’s Day and it was such a wonderful experience! The food was better than expected and the view was lovely. The Crab cakes and lobster rolls are a “must have”
What made our time there outstanding was the service from Rinetta! She was over the top accommodating and treated our father feel like a KING! Thank you for your impeccable service Rinetta.
