Love the outdoor area! Great spot for drinks and raw bar.
Great seafood. . Hot spot in summer
First, I love the Jersey Shore. Point Pleasant is one of my family's favorite places for years. My wife and daughter share their birthday in July and the two of them go out for dinner to Red's Lobster Pot for the last 5 year's. I was getting super jealous and had to go. My wife took me the first time this summer 2018. I was so impressed. First the views we had the opportunity to watch the sunset over the bay. It was unbelievable. We ate outside and at Red's Lobster Pot you order and pay for your food at a counter after getting seated. The seafood selection is fantastic and so so fresh. We were ordering Lobster while a guy was dealing his catch of lobsters from the day. Needless to say our dinner was unbelievable. Even though there isn't table service the waiters and waitress are very attentive. The meal the restaurant and the day was exceptional. Thanks Red's I'll be back when it's not a B'day visit.
Let me start off by saying this place is different as far as a normal restaurant functions go. You go up and order your food from a counter then they bring it to your table. You place a number on your table and that is how they know your order. The food was very good. We had lobster bisque soup, muscles , Lobster ravioli , and fish tacos. We also got a side of french fries. Everything was very good, my only complaint is the fish tacos. The fish was good but a little dryed out. As it was the only thing that was a little off. I would still highly recommend this place to friends and family.
Casual deck dining. Coconut shrimp and calamari for appetizers - great color, flavor, and texture. My only complaint would have been the consistency of the marinara sauce for the calamari. A little too runny to dip in, would not coat the calamari.
Had the shrimp burrito and crab cakes for entrees. The shrimp burrito was filling but needed something else to make it fully complete - salsa, guac, something. The crab cakes were good and had lots of large chunks of meat in them.
Overall a good place for a meal and some drinks outside on the deck.
