This place is great! Decor is very cool and staff friendly. Seared tuna was awesome, also had the the seaweed salad, highly recommended. Kids had coconut shrimp, carrot cake and mint ice cream brownie. Also very good. Must go!

Only down side is no reservations, so be prepared... I think they let you call ahead the day of and they can set a table for you.

I had lunch there today and the food and service were great! The decor is awesome! I found out a lot of the items were bought from local businesses, which is cool. I had the Point lobster roll with Old Bay seasoned shoestring french fries (my favorite). My table also got the baked clams and lobster fries. All the food was excellent! I will definitely be going back soon.

I like to browse in the antique pavilion in Point Beach and the other day I noticed a spot I occasionally eat at for some good paella ( not Newark good, but good ) had changed. Now called Point Lobster Bar. Stopped in around dusk which is great as it's getting dark around 5:30 and my companion and I had the ribs ( prob not the best choice to order in a seafood restaurant , they were tough) and lobster rolls. Lobster rolls were good. Lobster a tad overcooked but pretty good. Why are shoestring fries so prevalent? Quick to fry? Not my cup of tea for fries. Anyway, I'll prob check it out again at some point. Beautiful decor though and service fine.
