I've had cheesesteaks made at many places that make great sandwiches but this place isn't one of them. I ate there twice because I thought my first disappointing visit was an anomaly but a better experience the second time was not to be. There bread of choice is all wrong and ruins the end product. I'm a purist when it comes to cheesesteaks and the soft long roll is by far the best choice. The remaining ingredients, eaten without their dried out straight jacket is quite good and would probably make a great sandwich if it were served in a softer roll.
Best cheesesteak period. It's got tables inside and an atm that's slightly cheaper then the boardwalk. They sell cheesesteakes and cheeseballs(think mozzarella sticks except cheddar and round) I don't know what else they sell because for 10.50 you get a seaside Tony which is half a pizza bread filled with cheesteak and cheese balls. It probably has enough calories for the entire day, and enough greese to give someone a heart attack, but the seaside Tony is on the list of last meal worthy meals. It's that good.
Seaside legend for as long as I can remember try the cheese balls and disco fries
When you're down the Jersey shore and you're in the mood for that loaded cheese steak take a ride over to Steaks Unlimited for your Mouth watering cheese steak sandwich. Sometimes it can be a little crazy especially at night when everybody's in the mood for the same thing, At times it can be a little crowded inside also so be ready If you're going to eat their you also might have to stand and eat your sandwich because you won't be able to get a seat.
Good food honest opinion.. both places are across street from each other have yummy and delicious cheese steaks in a pita bread.
