Always Fabulous Food, slow food prep time bit always well worth the wait, everything is made fresh to order

I have been going down here forever. Just found this place. Will be back. Fresh food and friendly service.

The bad-I’m local just 5 minutes drive from lLidia’s. Price is high, 1/2 avocado, red onion and 1/2 iceberg lettuces $13, nice portion with good dressing but $$. Long waiting, need to be organized from the kitchen to the service, one couple left after 20 minutes waiting with no servers show up after they give them a table, ...on a Wednesday is ridiculous!!!. I’m in the business and it looks is just lack of preparation in the cooking section and customers service just can’t help if the product does not move from the kitchen.
The good-The sea food, I can tell they cook the shrimps generally at the same time and temperature, they all have the same flavor, they just change the sauce when they are busy. Nothing wrong with that, but for the price they charge is not aceptable.
The meats are the best on all the Cubans restaurants in 50 miles around, portions would look “short” for meat lovers, but the meats are done very good to excellent. Cuban sandwich and fries portions are the best choice for first timers with empty stomach. We love to order that to go with friends and family on the way back home from the beach specially on weekends when the place is pack.
This place needs to fix few things, lack of patience and empty stomach when this place is busy can be a nightmare.
From yesterday’s dinner, 3 Stars this time, we’ll be back!!

My wife and I were served by Nick who was extremely friendly and informative. Nick helped us make the best appetizer and dinner selections. Everything was prepared to perfection......we will be back, thanks for making it such a nice relaxing evening!!!
