Business lunch that had to go right. Applebee's in Clifton just the spot. We were coming from different directions, so the central location was perfect.

And then the food was really good. My unsweetened ice tea actually tasted like tea and was nice and cold. My burger was very nicely cooked. And the fries were just right. They came out looking and testing great.

No dessert, but the coffee was good and nice way to start our conversation with my boss.

The service was attentive and we had the manager come by the table twice to make sure everything was good.

I would chose it again and can recommend.

Our waiter was comical. Down to earth, sassy when needed. Sadly I forgot his name. (He said it but is 3am now.) Tall male with a very curly top bun with the sides shaved. 10/10.

Food was ok. Honey barbecue wings was delicious. Restaurant was pleasant and clean. Nice atmosphere plus they have outside seating as well. Reason for 3 stars the waiter was not as attentive to our table as we would have like. Also it doesn't hurt to smile. Customer service goes a long way even if what I ordered was not all that great. Overall I would return to give them another shot and try another dish. Maybe it was just what I ordered tonight that came up short. Hopefully I can return and

add another 2 stars.
