The Love of Grub

For the Love of Grub, I traveled round trip 85 miles to get some Love and I was not disappointed. You better grab a table early because the place was empty on arrival around 1130am but by noon it was rockin. So many great food items to choose from and everything on the menu seems appetizing. We all went in different directions with our orders and each entree was better than the next. Love local businesses and this one seems to have the formula for success, which is everything is made from the heart. When you have a passion for food and it comes across in great tasting dishes, then you are off and running. Looking forward to our next visit. Great job Love of Grub...

Breakfast here is absolutely to die for, I started out with the “Big Boy Breakfast” platter being that it was my first ordering here. My girlfriend started out with a meat, egg & cheese sandwich which was also very good.
I must say I haven’t had pancakes made this well in a very long time. Usually I have to venture out if Clifton to get a good decent breakfast. With all these delis and bagel shops there just aren’t too many options like this.

Being that we ordered online and took advantage of their delivery method and we decided to stay in and see what time tables look like for future reference. After about an hour our food finally arrived and still warm. I know for a fact you can not cook and deliver in under 30 minutes so I am very thankful that the food at least arrived warm and ready to eat.

I will definitely keep ordering from here and I can’t wait till I go to work on the weekdays because I work right by this place so now I’ll just be more tempted every morning to have something from this great establishment.

The only thing I would recommend from this business is to open a DoorDash or UberEars account for exposure to more customers like myself and not feel the pressure of having 1 delivery driver get all the work done. Granted people will still order delivery in house, but 3rd party apps right now seem to allow people to get their food on demand.

Overall very good food and quality service.

What a gem! Incredible and unique home-cooked delicacies. All made from scratch with a touch of Southern inspiration. The Chef/Owner Tracey makes you feel like family. I wish I could eat here every day!

Great local place to have breakfast or lunch The menu is fresh daily and offers something for everyone. Daily specials are priced well and affordable. Inside atmosphere is cozy and bright.. Best breakfast eatery & luncheonette to come to Clifton NJ in a LONG time

Everything was so fresh and delicious - Tracey really puts her heart and soul into her cooking! Many unique dishes. Awesome fries (real, hand cut - not processed/frozen), yummy pancakes, bacon cooked to perfection. Generous portions and prices very reasonable. Cute island themed decor! Best of luck to Tracey and her staff - we will be back!
