Beirut Restaurant

Three places in one is the best way to describe Beirut.
1) You can go any day of the week to enjoy a relaxing lunch/dinner while smoking one of the best hookahs in NJ. It's also BYOB.
2) Every Thursday and Friday they have a one man band who is truly an artist. His performance is out of this world. You can dance if you like but it's more of a romantic/relaxing atmosphere.
3) Saturday is party night. They typically have two great singers and a belly dancer perform through the night. Don't be surprised if a third or even a fourth singer shows up and performs.

All of the performers gather at Beirut, after they finish performing at other venues, to hang which says a lot.
The food is great, the hookahs are great, the service and employees are wonderful and the owner is very attentive and caring. This is truly a family place. We always feel at home when we go. A must try.

I have been here several times and the food is always prepared properly and with excellent taste. By far some of the best lamb chops in the area served thinly sliced and grilled to perfection. The sides and the olive pre dinner are a treat and a great compliment. Service is always friendly and hookah is the right temp and great flavors.

Unfortunately we ate somewhere else because we didn’t plan on going there, therefore we couldn’t eat, we were charged $35 per person just for sitting on a table, even tho we ordered deserts, drinks and hookah, however I would like to go back there to try the food. The Atmosphere was amazing we had an amazing night, the music was great and we danced a lot. The staff are very nice and professional, there also very friendly, the belly dancer was great. I’m so going back to this place

I was surprised by how delicious the food was here. we had a group of us. they don't have tap water ????. if you ask for water you are given $2 bottled water. so be aware of that. this place is BYOB so that was great. you can save money that way instead. the ambiance is a bit odd. it was nicely lit when we came but as the night progressed they dimmed the lights to the point we had trouble seeing the menu... and needed a cell phone flashlight ????. servers are nice and didn't push for us to leave but would invade personal space a bit when collecting plates without an excuse me or any notice. you would be in the middle of eating and they reach right over you and grab the plate in front. that was a bit odd. but overall they were okay. this place serves hookah so it is a bit smokey so not advisable to bring young kids as they smoke it in the dining area. I read there is belly dancing but we didn't see that when we went. I would come back for the food but maybe as takeout. as for parking there is street parking and a lot across the street. they have valet if you prefer that.
