Jalapeños Mexican Grill/ Passaic

Let me start by saying the food was great. Atmosphere and service not so much. I literally had to call the waitress over the whole time to order drinks, food, and my check. Mind you it was just me and my date in there on a Monday night. Homeless people kept walking in asking for food. Not to the staff but literally coming to my table and, asking me for my food. I gave one person my taco who would not leave. The music was so loud I couldn’t even hear my date talk. It was a Monday night..lol and just me…lol

ALERT!! this use to be De puebla a veracruz!!! It's now called jalapeños mexican grill ... we heard about this place from tik tok and was super confused when we got there because there's no sign on the building but this was the right place..
Went here late night for Birria tacos and they were good!!! Service lacked a bit and they could of been more friendly but the food was good. If i could make a suggestion I would tell them to add more cheese.. there wasn't enough for me but the consome was great. I ordered beef Birria and my bf ordered chicken.. 1 order of 3 Birria tacos was $17.10 that's with tax. I preferred the beef... check the video

Staff is attentive and friendly. Menu wasn't too crazy, and nothing really caught my attention besides tacos. Drinks however, were delicious.

Great local Mexican restaurants. Cute little spot in town. The service was good and so was the food and drinks. They have unique/fun and picturesque drinks sure to do the drink. The food is also delicious. We tried the queso fundido with shrimp which was good, shrimp empanadas which was amazing and the birria bowl, birria taco and birria chicken taco everything was so delicious
