Sam’s Bar & Grill

So far so good. Wait staff was amazing! Super friendly and very attentive. Lots of great beers on tap including ciders. Menu was small but was told it will expand in 2 weeks. Bar area was amazing! Super big TV in the middle with a bunch of smaller TVs around it. Food was amazing, especially the shrimp app! Wings were on steroids and had lots of flavor. The burger was huge and the bun was super soft! Can’t wait for the full menu in a few weeks!

The place is brand new, so I'm grading on a curve here. Will be trying again at some point.

Beer selection was good, and nice local options. Spicy shrimp was very tasty too.

Prices seemed pretty high, and food selection seemed limited. I hope they decorate the place a little more and eventually make use of the outdoor area in the back, with the nice reservoir mountain view. The interior is pretty plain and undistinguished at the moment, with kind of awkward overhead lighting and basic furniture with nothing on the walls.

Otherwise glad to have this spot open again, and will be coming back to try something else.

We were greeted warmly at the door by the manager and received excellent service throughout the evening. Our table enjoyed an appetizer of brussels sprouts and then continued to be further delighted with our entrees.The organic chicken breast and the tuna poke salad were delicious. We ended the evening sharing a perfect slice of key lime pie. There was a fantastic assortment of beers on tap and a creative cocktail menu. We will definitely be back to try more.

Heard Sam’s was open, so decided to try it out on Monday evening.
All I can say is WOW!!!! First of all he had my favorite pumpkin cider on tap. No one ever has iit. Fall flavors are my favorite, so when they said they had pumpkin on tap I was happy right away. We had the shrimp and brussel sprouts for appetizers. They both were delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better we had the prime rib and the cauliflower for our main course.
The prime rib was mouthwatering. It was so
tender that you actually didn’t need the steak knife. The mushrooms and onions on top were perfectly cooked. The prime rib, which we ordered medium was a perfect pink. It was all great.
The service was awesome as well and was very interested how everything was. The atmosphere was great and the TV setup for watching the games were perfect.
Sam also came over to our table and we chatted for a few minutes and he is the most personable man. He is living his dream and checked off owning a bar off his bucket list. We certainly will be making this a weekly stop.
We cannot wait for the extension of the menu after the soft opening.
