This place is awesome. I came cause it was close to the bank but i uncovered a hidden treasure. Service is phenomenal you can tell they care about their customers on an individual level. I could get into the details of what made it special but I think you should just check it out yourself

Very cozy I will call best in towne.Food is the original sushi no food enhances, delicious , very fresh as you can have. Serving with a great smile family atmosphere . You get a lot of free extras. I visit lot of different restaurants, definitely come back here once a week here.Tony

Don’t go anywhere else for sushi. Once you come here, you’ll never find this quality sushi anywhere else in the tri state area. Family owned and operated by the sweetest couple who occasionally have help from other family members. They’ll get to know you and your typical orders and sometimes give you rolls on the house based on your preferences. Incredibly cheap for what you get - the highest quality sushi and bigger than average rolls. Oh, it’s BYOB too. The decor is quaint and lovely- my favorite being the wall sized canvases of landscape. We have been going there for almost 10 years now, and cannot seem to go anywhere else. I can go on and on about how amazing Takei is but the bottom line is you should go here for sushi.

Best sushi around, it’s the only place my family will go! We cater them several times a year too! I love that you can taste the fresh fish and not everything is crazy deep fried and covered with a billion sauces. There’s texture in the spicy rolls too and not just a one note mushy mess. I’ve been coming here since 2013 when I first tried sushi and it’s first place I bring friends to try sushi for the first time too. I absolutely love this place and the family that owns the restaurant make you feel like a part of their own.
