I have been going here for 15+ years. I never had any issue with the staff or the food. It's always great. One of the employees named Amy always remembers my partner and I and makes sure to say hi. I have been to many hibachi places over the years, but Izumi always feels the most welcoming and friendly.
I see some customers on the reviews here stating that they were not accomadated well. I would like to say that has never happened to me at Izumi. They have always been very accomadating to me. I can't begin to count the times I have watched the staff go above and beyond to satisfy the customers I have shared tables with. The best part is the staff always does this with a smile and friendly attitude. As long as Izumi is around it will always be my favorite dining experience!

Great place for a group or a couple. Food is great. Come hungry because the portions are large. If you find yourself waiting you can have a seat at the bar.

Always fun to watch the chef cook up your meal in front of you. The food is good. Servings are large enough to have some left to take home. The Mai Tai and Zombie drinks are really good and they don't cheap out on the liquor. Pricing is a bit higher than my liking thus the 4 stars. Look out. On some holidays, the prices are jacked up and they reduce the menu options. Call ahead on holidays and find out. Nonsensical but it is what it is. The fun atmosphere, good food, good drinks, and friendly service really helps make it a pleasant outing and keep us going back.
