The Vreeland Store

I had to give them 3 stars , because when they first opened they were unbelievable!!! So now when we there tonight the fried pickles were different and we found out they changed the beer batter to flour batter , plus they were over cooked. The caprese panini was good , but they changed it to rye . The mac and cheese was definitely different, but since then it's changed, it's not as creamy. It's still a homey place.
This place used to 5 stars all the way . The bartender did a great job! She checked back with us numerous times ! We still left over 20% service was excellent!!
My wife and I will be back, this place is still one of our favorite places though.
So give it a try! !
P.s please go back to the BEER BATTER PICKLES..... we miss them!!! :(((

Historic building is home to a great cafe. Owner and employees are friendly and the food is excellent.

This was my first time visiting and I'm hoping that it won't be my last!! It's def worth the drive we took from Warwick, NY. Amazing atmosphere, amazing food and amazing staff. It was my last day visiting family back in NY and I couldn't that e imagined my last brunch any other way. The food is sooo tasty with with quantity to match it's quality. The whole vibe of the place is so friendly and homey, that even though it was raining outside, it was the coziest place to be! 100% would recommend a great meal and great atmosphere! P.S, they also have a bakery in the back with the best ice cream in the world from the bellvale creamery (maybe I'm biased on the ice cream ;)

A cozy place for a delicious lunch. The ambiance is old timey and unique. If you’re in the area, the Vreeland store is a must! Might I suggest the quiche of the day and the most wonderful garlicky greens, additionally there is a nice beer selection as well.

I love this place. Quaint and old-world rural setting with great food and friendly service. Perfect place for an amazing breakfast, lunch, scone or a dessert you’ll come back for again and again.
