Marty's Crabs

Always have what I want.. Great place

Market counter offers top notch fresh Delaware Bay crabs and oysters, plus clams, scallops, frozen Dungeness and snow crab, fish, smoked whiting, and fried platters and sandwiches with quality pepper hash or coleslaw and fries on the side. Interesting crab cakes (not Maryland style, these are almost all crab meat with what seems like a bit of cooked scallions and maybe other herbs, with no red or green pepper, nor Old Bay) -- I like it. Good hush puppies too. It's the only place like it in the area. Keep an eye out for their specials on claws -- at times when they have a lot of crabs they end up with a lot of broken off claws and they sell them cheap. Worth the trip.

Marty's is an oasis. Quite a charming place as it's OUTDOOR. You window shop, peruse, and order outside. I love it. Crabs are always delicious. Love coming here. We get consistently high quality cooked crabs. We like to order them cleaned and cooked. They have 5 or 6 ‘ways’ they are cooked - old bay, garlic, red pepper, mild, hot, real hot, etc. they have other steamed delights as well as a fried seafood menu, and some simple stuff for the landlubbers of your party. Worth the drive. Worth buying a shirt imo.

An excellent place to stop to eat or take out if you're exploring route 49 or on your way to the shore. Nice people, good selection, fair prices.

Today was the first time going to Marty’s. I found it on Google by searching for seafood places in the Bridgeton area and saw it was a small place with the highest ratings. When I ate my food, it was truly amazing!!! This was the freshest seafood I had in the longest time with the best flavor overall. I see why they have such a high rating. I would give it more than five stars if I can. I highly recommend this place if you want the best in the area.
