II Forno Brick Oven Pizza

First time visit....I was impressed with my lunch special of Arugula Salad with Fried Shrimp, Walnuts. Mozzarella Cheese. Big serving and delicious. Husband's Eggplant Rollatini was superb.

Homey neighborhood restaurant tucked away with good service. The clam pasta I had was quite good and well priced too.

The food here is DELICIOUS! And in generous portions and reasonably priced. It's not a fancy place, more a mom-and-pop feel. It does have a nice atmosphere and it's clean. They only have about a dozen tables but I've never seen a line. Most people seem to order and pick-up. Staff doesn't leave you standing around, they address everyone who comes in quickly. Haven't seen the restroom...

I previously purchased a Chef Salad that was a good portion, and moderately priced. I was very satisfied with my purchase. This visit I ordered a lasagna dinner. While the portion was enormous, I was disappointed in that all I got was the lasagna and a tiny piece of bread. For what I paid, I would surely have accepted a smaller portion, and a larger piece of bread with a small salad. The lasagna was devoid of sauce except what was provided as a dressing, and rather bland. I'll not order this again. My mom's was much better, and she wasn't even Italian.
