Trattoria Uno

I was able to have a number of items here once again. Below are my thoughts on what I had below.

Garlic Bread? - This essentially tasted like an onion bagel. It was alright.

Salad - This was a typical garden salad and there was one with tomato and mozzarella (See previous review for similar thoughts)

Roasted Potatoes - These were lightly seasoned, but very oily. They were cooked to a slight crisp.

Eggplant Parmesan - The sampling was very good. There was light
sauce and was not overly breaded.

Chicken Francese - There was not much flavor and was plain. I must say I am not a big fan of this dish to begin with. The chicken was tender though.

Broccoli Rabe - This was not overly bitter with a good amount of garlic and oil.

Trattoria Uno lies along the busy US Highway 202. There is a medium-sized parking area in front of the plaza the pizzeria is a part of. Inside lies a welcoming interior with good lighting, clean tables, and great decorative wall hangers. The staff was very polite and friendly and the slice selection was excellent.

I decided to go with the meat lovers and the tomato slice. They were not stingy on the meat with this slice...it came fully loaded. Very filling. The tomato slice benefitted from amazing sauce. There was a good amount of cheese and the ratio to the sauce was excellent. Both slices had a nice crisp crust and base. The tomato slice is a real winner, and one of the better ones I've enjoyed in Somerset County.

Overall, this place has my approval! Excellent pizza!

One of the best gluten free pizzas I've had! Most GF pizzas range from absolutely terrible to "well I'm hungry so I guess I'll eat it." This one was great! A bit pricey though

Good food. Great eat in specials. Friendly staff and casual atmosphere. Their catering for large parties tastes close to the in restaurant quality, is reasonably priced, and they deliver. Very helpful that they have the option to rent heating racks.

I love this food! Great Casual dining! Food is fresh! Awesome staff! 10 out of 10 recommend and yes that does kind of rhyme.
