Wow amazing place like being in a pub on central london

I'd been craving fish and chips for a while and noticed this place from my daily commute down 202. It really hit the spot! The fish was fresh and tasty and fried to perfection. Light and crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The chips exceeded my expectations. The shape (oval disks) suggest they were cut from fingerling potatoes, which made for a different and delightful eating experience. They had wonderful potato-y flavor and were nice and crunchy, just the way I like them. I often feel heavy and sluggish after eating fried food, but not with The Chippery -- I felt great afterwards. The only things I would want to change are having access to real cutlery instead of plastic. Also I smelled like fried food after leaving there, and it was so strong that the smell stayed in my car for a while after. Better ventilation in the eating area would be good. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back to try some of the other menu items. Until then, I'm going to be dreaming about those chips! ????????????

Good fried fish. Light breading and satisfying portions. I think the chips are under-cooked but they will graciously cook them longer when asked.

Omg the food here is AMAZING, I can't wait to go back!!! I can't believe how fresh the fish is, the chicken wings are awesome, and the jalapeno poppers are unlike any I've ever had, totally raised the bar!!! Definitely going back again, and very soon!! Also the place was super clean and didn't smell at all like fish, VERY impressive!!

Being English, I've been disheartened by my inability to find a real good fish 'n chips in Somerset County...until now. The fish was fantastic. The perfect amount of batter and extremely fresh. My entire family LOVED their meals. The chips are also delicious. Perhaps the best part was the phenomenal sauces they have to choose from. It's fun experimenting with them all---and they're all great. Very friendly and accommodating staff too. The price is right as well. The only downside is the the eating area is pretty small. I'm definitely going to be a regular there from now on.
