Mei-Mei Chinese Take-Out

Served one of the best Chinese food in central Jersey. Do not be afraid to ask the staff for Chinese classic dishes. Salt and pepper squid is my all time favorite.

This place was recommended to us by a Chinese friend. Absolutely delicious. Certainly not a fancy place, but we prefer take out. The crispy orange beef is amazing. I believe they only take cash, which is fine with us!

Best black bean lobsters you will ever eat. Been eating that dish and others at this quaint little place for about 30 years. I believe the management hS changed but the delicious food has remained consistent throughout.

I've been coming to Mei Mei's since 1991, and have found it to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. I grew up in Queens, NY and this place rivals the great food we used to get in NY. Always great service, nice people, family owned business. They do not take credit cards (cash only), and there are not many tables to eat in. They do a lot of take out. This place is usually busy, and eating in during the winter months can be chilly. They offer black tea and cold water complimentary with your dinner. Our favorite dishes include squid w/peanuts, egg foo young, crispy Thai shrimp, black pepper shrimp, roast pork ends, tangerine beef, and the ribs w/black bean sauce. The egg rolls are good, but a bit greasy. Family favorite, highly recommend.
