    I’ve been here about 4 times now. The staff is very sweet and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

    I had a very nice experience with Sakana Sushi & Ramen on Cedar Grove Road in Somerset, NJ. I called in an order for take out and while it was a little bit of a challenge to explain my order, they got it right. The restaurant was nicely decorated for Christmas and I was greeted with a big welcome and my meal was ready to go. The sushi was nicely prepared, tasted good and was well-proportioned. I thought it was a bit pricey for the portion but not bad. I look forward to ordering from here again.

    Enjoyed the black garlic ramen, green salad and sushi. It's nice to finally have a ramen place nearby!

    I’m glad that this place is open in my area. They have a good selection of sushi rolls. The taste is good too. The sashimi could be bigger. I like the ramen there even though the selection is quite limited. The service is good. The price is regular. I wish they have the half price sushi on Saturday like the other restaurant the same owner has in the area. Try the volcano roll.

    Honestly I can only judge the ramen at this point it was good not the best. I rarely will eat sushi that's from a Chinese cookie cutter sushi restaurant.Style. this restaurant was an authentic Japanese sushi house that's no longer the case. Menu shows a lot of rolls covered in mayonnaise and sauces and if I do decide to try this restaurant it won't be on a Monday Pro tip never eat sushi on Monday
