Somerset Pizza & Restaurant

We have ordered to-go pizzas twice on 2 separate occasions in a month—a large and a small pizza each time from Somerset Pizza & Restaurant. We miss their previous owners. Apparently this pizzeria changed owners and kept the same name.

Anyway the first time we ate there to go pizzas, both of us got sick that night. We thought it might have been unrelated.

So tonight on Mother’s Day my husband once again bought home two more pizzas (large and small) and they were ‘The Worst.’ Grossly over salted, and dried out horribly. Their tomato sauce tasted off this evening. My husband was so disgusted he threw half of both pizzas in the trash. And after that, it was about 10-15 minutes after eating, that I had diarrhea. So much for second chances.

Somerset pizza’s Grandma pizza was a big hit at my holiday and New Year’s party. This was far better, fresher tasting, than any other pizza joint in Somerset. Great job on the Grandma pizza!

Delicious pizza and dinners. I have a large family and their prices are really great! I highly recommend them????

The best Special Double Burger around ! My new favorite Lunch Spot ! Yay!

Was in town for the day for an event at the nearby hockey rink and stopped here for lunch because it was nearby. Was very impressed with the pizza - best "standard" pizzeria pizza I've had in a long time. If we lived nearby, this would be my regular pizza joint.

Our first time at Somerset Pizza and restaurant and we can say it was very good. It may become our favorite Italian restaurant. Simple sit-down restaurant with very good Italian food - lots of choices - entrees or pizza on the menu for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is nothing fancy - not a formal, expensive, cloth napkin restaurant but a byob for any night out (or lunch) when you want to be casual and have some good food - or takeout too of course.
We had lasagna and penne vodka. Both were excellent - as good or better than some more expensive restaurants we have been to recently. Soup or salad was included with the meal. We both had salads with our meals and they were very good - simple fresh green salad with tomatoes and onion and a house balsamic dressing. Nice bread with a pesto dipping sauce also came with the meal, We ended our meal with Italian cannolis - also very good. It was a nice meal out. Good service. We’ll be back there soon. Recommended.
