I've been to this location 3 times now, first two times fantastic service (even though I had to wait and the place was crowded). Unfortunately this time (it was Superbowl Sunday) my waitstaff was not attentive and kind of aloof. She was very nice in getting my beverages but forgot to refill my bread as well as my second side. Quite disappointing. If this was my first time I would not bother to go back to this location. Typically in the past 2/3s of my experiences I would be greeted by a manager who would ask how my dining experience was, and this time I was not. Great food, but like with any other big box restaurants your experience can easily be influenced by the waitstaff.
Surprisingly good steak even against steak houses in Texas!
My wife and I were driving down to Texas. We visited from Dallas to Austin to Houston and we have tried some pretty high end steak houses at various locations. To our surprise, one night we were too tire to find a nice steak house nearby our hotel, we decided to just stop by a Texas Roadhouse down the block. They servef the best steaks we had during that whole trip. The meat was tender, juicy and cooked to the perfect medium rare! ???????? We've tried another Texas Roadhouse up in Boston also, and they were just as good.
Detailed review on its way.
I'll try not to be too salty ????
In reference to the food being "Salty"
Yes that part is true. I'll update tomorrow when I get a chance.
Also real quick if you are looking for a bar type atmosphere, go here !
In terms of food... Ahhhh well that's debatable..
Nice atmosphere & Friendly and attentive staff. I Had a small steak with two sides and a glass of lemonade. There was so much salt in the sides and on the steak it was barely edible.
I slowly finished the steak washing it down bit by bit with lemonade. The sides were so over salted no amount of lemonade could help wash them down. I just couldn't eat them. The hot rolls and cinnamon butter were great. Question: do the cooks taste the food before it goes out? It would explain a lot.
My bill was $34 + $4 tip = $38.00
Needless to say I won't be going back.
Be mindful, if you have peanut allergies.
Great service.
Great staff.
Owner comes out periodically and does a meet and greet...nice guy.
Moderately priced.
I'll definitely come back.
