Salt Gastropub

I am not a beer drinker but they made a stout that is absolutely delicious. Food was great, staff was amazing. Just an overall fantastic experience.

We have been coming to Salt for years and always a great experience. Last night was mediocre. I had the shrimp and scallops which was a little overpriced for what I had. 3 small scallops and 3 small shrimp which didn't taste very fresh. My wife had a small plate if pasta for over 20 dollars. Still good value and selection of drinks. Entertainment was wonderful. Probably will try once more. Will stick to burger or fish and chips.

The food was good, but not great. We had burgers and salads and appetizers. The decor was appealing. The tables were very tight together and conversations from tables on all sides of us could be heard easily. There was live entertainment on the night that we visited and the person was very good, but his microphone was turned down too low. Overall we had a good time, but they really need to separate the tables a little.

If you have not gone, you should. Check out the website. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is old school NYC. The people who work there make you want to talk to them the day after you leave.

Been coming to Salt a few times a week for the last two years and I'm always happy with the food and service. Best burgers in the area hands down, and great rotation of entrees and local craft beers. I usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are always super friendly and attentive! Great atmosphere and several people that I have met there have become great friends of mine. Customer base doesn't skew "younger" nor "older".... just a great mix of good people. Can you tell I'm a fan? : )
