Hyde-Away Restaurant & Tap Room

Excellent first-time visit!

It's incredibly hard to find a good restaurant anywhere in or near Sussex County, so I'm always very excited when a new one pops up.

This place had nice ambiance, really great food, friendly staff, and they were very accommodating for my young kids.

I got to try a number of dishes there, and was very impressed from the WARM dinner rolls all the way through to the excellent chocolate cake dessert.

We had two different steak dishes in our party, and both were excellent.

I highly recommend this place. If you live in the area, get down here and give them business so that they stick around!

It's my favorite restaurant. Our home away from home. The staff are very personable and treat you like family. The food is great and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend.

This was our first time here. When walking into the front entrance you are in the tap room. Nicely decorated and so many choices of beer on tap!
My wife and I were seated at a table in a semi private room which we liked so we can have conversation without having to "talk over" the other patrons.
The food was delicious and served by our waitress who was great.
The salmon is served in a raspberry sauce, which I initially had reservations about ordering, but I was delightfully pleased.
We will definitely go back again!

I have waited a long time for them to open and I've eaten there a few times.....each time it gets better. The staff is amazing they are busy to say the least but they make you feel like you're special not pushy in any way but attentive and polite, they make sure you are well taken care of. The food is by far better than what you'll find in this area..... I have had a different item every time I've come here and I have NOT been disappointed. The drinks are made well, the ambiance is welcoming and warm I feel like I'm coming to a friends house for wonderful evening each time I come. See you all again soon Hyde-Away my now favorite place to eat.
