Having the best french toast in the nation is quite a claim, unfortunately it did not not live up to the hype, it was just ok, coffee was ok, entire experience was just ok. I root for a local business to be great, but nothing about the brunch my wife and I had stood out, or gave us a reason to look forward to returning. I will try something from the lunch menu in hopes of a better meal and update accordingly.

Awesome breakfast spot. Try the French toast. Real maple syrup!

I had never even conceived of a French toast breakfast sandwich before this, and I now have trouble of conceiving how I can possibly ever have one that's better. The French toast was as good a advertised. Not advertised was the exceptional quality of the taylor ham, or how perfectly crisp the bacon is while not being burned, and with a fine smoky flavor. Also not advertised is how excellent the baked goods are, and the in-house made ice cream. As if the food wasn't good enough on its own, the staff and the owner were extremely welcoming and friendly, and made our visit a pleasure. This place is a gem!

Quality of food and service can be difficult to find in this area, but Old Stone never fails to disappoint! It's my go-to spot for food in Sussex. They have creative refreshing takes on classic foods. Their ice cream and French Toast are extra fantastic. Friendly owners and staff!
